The INGEAR OPC Servers for Windows CE offered by Software Toolbox for Siemens MP370 and MP270B panels provide direct connectivity to AB, Modicon & GE Fanuc PLCs via Ethernet or serial connections.
We have been providing OPC servers for Windows CE to the automation industry since 1999 - these OPC servers for the Siemens MP 370 and MP270B panels are based on that same field proven technology.

Simple point-and-click configuration
- Supports Windows CE 3.0

- All drivers run on the CE panel and talk directly to the PLC - no need to connect to an OPC server on a desktop PC
- No middleware (i..e RS Linx for AB PLCs) required
- Connect 2 or more PLC types to your panel at the same time - i.e PLC 5 and Controllogix; AB and a GE, Modbus and an AB, etc.
- Built in simulation mode - excellent for development and testing - the OPC server can generate simulated data for ProTool.

- ProTool can browse the OPC server for all available items
- Flexible tag creation options
- Dynamic tag creation - you pass a PLC address from ProTool as the OPC item name or ...
- Configured Tags in the OPC server - configure your tags and in ProTool they can be added via browse/add.
- If you choose to create tags in the OPC server, we can import the tags into the OPC server for you from a CSV file - on AB ControlLogix we can import direct from an RS-Logix 5000 CSV file export. Then all you have to do in ProTool is browse/click to pick the tags you want to use.

Supported Siemens Software - user should have the following Siemens software available when using these products:
- ProTool Version 6.0 SP2 or higher
- Supported Panel (see below) with Windows CE 3.0 and panel OS image version B 6.0.2.23
